Teachers
- Teacher Substitutes
The
Learning Bank has no current openings for teachers. However, we
have an ongoing need for long or short term substitute teachers.
We would be glad to have your resume (Bachelors Degree required)
on file for when an opening occurs in either our daytime or evening
classes.
In
both programs, our classes are departmentalized in Reading/Writing
and Math. We offer Reading/Writing classes from beginning literacy
through GED. We offer Math classes from addition/subtraction through
geometry and algebra.
Daytime
classes run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9:00am
and 2:00pm in one and a half hour sessions. We operate in five "cycles"
per year. Each cycle is 10 weeks, 9 weeks for learners and one week
for teacher development and administration.
Evening
classes run Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00pm. These
classes run in 3 semesters: summer (July and August), fall (September
- December) and winter/spring (January - mid June).
